Dr Dimitris Tsoukalas
Dr. Dimitris Tsoukalas is a physician and scientific director of the Metabolomic Medicine® medical group with practice in Athens, Milan, Venice, and Zurich.
He is a pioneer in autoimmune health problems such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, psoriasis and Crohn's disease. Dr Tsoukalas is using metabolomics analysis to trace deficiencies in micronutrients, vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and macronutrients, to address the metabolic causes behind autoimmune health problems.
He graduated in 1991 from the Medical School of the "Università Degli Studi di Napoli, Federico II" in Italy. In 2000 he completed his specialization in General & Family Medicine at the Hippocratic Hospital of Athens, while in 2013, he completed the Update Course For General & Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
He is the author of the best-selling book "Your Body Is Genetically Programmed To Be Healthy," published by METAIXMIO and translated into English and Italian.
Dr. Tsoukalas has published more than 70 scientific studies in the field of metabolomics, nutrition and health and he is a keynote speaker at international conferences.
He is a senior editor in the scientific journal Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences , editor in the research topic "Autoimmune diseases, metabolites, diagnostic and therapeutic targets" in the same journal and editor in the scientific journals of MDPI: Antioxidants, Nutrients, Pathophysiology and BMC.
He is a scientific reviewer in eBioMedicine of THE LANCET, as well as in the scientific journals Antioxidants, Nutrients, Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences and Journal of Clinical Medicine.
Antonios Klokouzas
His motto is: "include the best of nutrition in the service of health. And that is exactly how we formulate Natural Doctor nutritional supplements".
Antonios Klokouzas M.Sc., PhD is a Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Specialist with expertise in the field of food supplements. He holds a PhD degree in Pharmacology from Cambridge University, England and an MSc degree in Biochemical Research from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, in England.
He has received his training from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services while working at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the USA, from Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, UK and from University of Medicine & Dentistry, New Jersey, USA.
