Digestive enzymes act like scissors which break down the food which we consume into smaller units which are then absorbed by the small intestine and are used by the human body to make cells, tissues, organs, glands.

   The breakdown of food into smaller pieces or individual nutrients, ready to be absorbed in the small intestine, is done primarily by digestive enzymes.

   Easy Digest supplement contains the following digestive enzymes of plant origin: amylase, lipase, glucoamylase, proteases, bromelain and cellulase.

   Raw food of plant origin contains natural enzymes which are important to assist the function of endogenous digestive enzymes.However, these enzymes of plant origin found in food are heat sensitive and they are destroyed during cooking.

   If that happens, pancreas (which normally produces only those digestive enzymes which are needed to complete digestion) over-functions to cope with the increased demand for digestion. Under these circumstances, the human body cannot respond sufficiently to the increased production demand for digestive enzymes.

   Take one capsule daily, just before the meal or according to the directions of your doctor. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.
